Remote Access

Remote access to an environment identical to the computer labs is available via Apache Guacamole directly in your web browser. Connections to Guacamole require a Computer Science user account. Both graphical and text-only console sessions are available.

Using Guacamole

Pressing CTRL+ALT+Shift reveals the hidden Guacamole menu sidebar. The menu can also be revealed by swiping right from the left edge of a touchscreen.

The menu provides options for:

• Getting back to the Guacamole home page
• Disconnecting from the session
• Accessing a clipboard shared between your local computer and the remote host
• Changing between keyboard and mouse input methods
• Zooming in and out
